Aviatorilor Neighborhood
The Aviatorilor neighborhood is located in the northern part of the capital, namely Sector 1. On its northern side, it borders King Michael I Park of Romania, on Constantin Prezan Boulevard. To the south lies the Victoriei neighborhood, while on the eastern side it borders Dorobanti and the Primaverii neighborhood. To the west is the Grivita neighborhood, bordered by Ion Mihalache Boulevard. The Aviatorilor neighborhood can be reached by metro, getting off at Piata Victoriei or Aviatorilor stations. The name of the Aviatorilor neighborhood comes from the statue of the Heroes of the Air, located between Charles De Gaulle Square and Victoriei Square, the work of sculptor Lidya Kodzebue. The Aviators' Monument, regarded as one of the most successful in Bucharest, was inaugurated in 1935. It is more of a protocol neighborhood, having been established especially for embassies and the military. The main thoroughfares in this neighborhood are Kiseleff Road and Aviatorilor Boulevard. Opposite Piata Victoriei, there are three important museums -  the "Grigore Antipa" National Museum, the Romanian Peasant Museum, and the National Geological Museum. In this area, we can visit two parks: Kiseleff Park and Bordei Park. Within Bordei Park, on an island surrounded by the lake, peacocks and swans can be admired by nature lovers. Divaro Company recommends the Aviatorilor neighborhood for real estate investments!
