[caption id="attachment_3984" align="alignleft" width="259"]zona armeneasca the Armenian area[/caption] The name of the Armenesca area comes from the community of Armenian merchants. The picture of the neighborhood is dominated by buildings with Neo-Romanian, avant-garde, modernist architecture, but also by those with the characteristic vines from the 19th century. In the center of the neighborhood there is also the oldest house in Bucharest, the Melik House, built in 1760. The Armenian Quarter is an island of identity of the city of Bucharest, a strip of land bordered by Carol I Boulevard to the south and Maria Rosetti Street to the north, Calea Moşilor to the east. The presence of Armenians in Bucharest is in fact linked to Calea Moşilor. Not by chance, Armenească Street continues beyond the boulevard and intersects with the most important commercial street, Podul Târgului de Afară (today Calea Moșilor). Areas of interest within the Armenian quarter: the Armenian Church, the Dudian Museum and the Armenian Cultural Center. Divaro Company recommends real estate investments in the Armenian Quarter!
